Does it work in Spanish and English?＋
Yes — fully bilingual. Each family member picks their own app language, the shared list lives in the language the family chooses, and voice dictation understands Spanish, English and Spanglish.
How do I add items to the list?＋
Four ways: type them, dictate them by voice ('2 kilos of tomatoes and a dozen eggs'), snap a photo of the exact product and AI names it (brand included), or type your weekly menu and AI builds the shopping list with quantities.
Can I know how much my family spends on groceries?＋

Does every family member create their own account?＋
Yes. Each person enters their name, then chooses either 'Join my family' with the shared 8-character code or 'Create a new family' if they are truly the first person. No email or password is needed.
How many people can be in a family?＋
Up to 10 members under one family. Everyone joins with a simple 8-character code — no emails or passwords needed.
Can my family see where I am?＋
They can see the saved store name while a shopping trip is active. Pa' La Casa never shows your coordinates on a map or stores your routes; it only records entry and exit at stores your family saved.
Does it drain the battery with GPS?＋
No. It uses the phone's native geofencing (the same low-power system iOS uses for reminders), not continuous GPS tracking.
Who can see my family's data?＋
Only your family. Each family's data is isolated, it is never sold, and the owner can delete the whole account and its data at any time from the app.
